The Chinese international school parent community throughly enjoyed the talk by Dr Abraham. She is fully informed of the many issues and challenges children and adolescents face but more importantly she is able to offer parents real and effective advice on when and how to help. While obviously an expert in her field Dr Abraham comes across as a very warm, open and approachable person making her “talk” more of conversation amongst caring parents. Her openness and empathy made it easier for parents to hear some hard and scary facts about teenagers today. We all learnt some much in the one hour and hope Dr. Abraham will return soon to our school.
